JEFFCO DEMOCRAT COUNTY ASSEMBLY ON SATURDAY, APRIL 8:

Location:  Alameda High School, 1255 S. Wadsworth Blvd.
 
Date:  Saturday, April 8
 
Time:  7:00 a.m.--Candidate/Elected Official/Organization Table Set-Up--enter through the west side parking lot entrance.
8:00 a.m.--Registration and Breakfast Provided by Tom Dittemore For H.D. 28 Campaign
9:00 a.m.--Assembly begins.
12:00-12:45 p.m.--Lunch--box lunches will be provided by Linda Rockwell For County Clerk & Recorder Campaign
3:00 p.m. Session Ends
 
Delegates & Alternate:  Elected at Precinct caucuses should all attend.  There were 570 delegates and approximately 250 alternates.
 
Parking:  Please park in the west wide parking lot and enter through the southwest door into Alameda High School.
 
Agenda:  1. Approval of Precinct Committeepeople elected at March 21 Precinct Caucuses.
2. Selection of Democrat County Candidates for inclusion on August 8 Primary Ballot for offices of County Commissioner--District 3, County Clerk and Recorder, County Treasurer, County Assessor, County Coroner, County Surveyor, County Sheriff
3. Approval of County Party Platform and Resolutions
4. Selection of Democrat Party Nominees for State House of Representatives from House District 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29
5. Selection of Democrat Party Nominees for State Senate from Senate Districts 20, 21, 22 and Jeffco Delegates to S.D. 16 Assembly
6. Selection of Jeffco Dem Delegates to Congressional District Assemblies in Congressional Districts 2, 6 and 7
7. Selection of Jeffco Democrat Delegates to State Assembly on May 20 in Greeley (505 delegates needed).
 
Dignitaries Attending:  Bill Ritter, Congressman Mark Udall, candidates for State:  Attorney General, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, CU-Regent, State Board of Education.
 
Observers Welcomed:  If you were unable to attend the Precinct Caucuses or you just want to find out about what happens at our Biennial County Assembly, you are welcome to attend.
 
Organizations/Campaigns/Political Supplies:  Many table will be set up of Campaign organization, other political organization and those selling Democrat political paraphernalia and supplies.
