Andy Kerr
Andy's Story
Andy is a father, teacher, and community leader with deep roots in Jefferson County and our JeffCo Dems party.
He's running for County Assessor to leverage his leadership & experience so hardworking families and small businesses know that they are paying only their fair share of property taxes, and those that try to cheat the system are held accountable.
Andy knows that JeffCo residents want to support their public schools, open spaces, and our first responders, and our community cares about fairness and accountability in local government.

Nicole Hensel
Nicole believes democracy should work for all of us. She is a former teacher, organizer, and nonprofit leader.
Nicole has worked on every inch of election protection: whether defending a student's right to vote at a campus polling center, passing pro-voter policy at the state capitol, or mobilizing hundreds of thousands of voters every single election.
As county clerk, she will work tirelessly to rebuild faith in our democracy—by making sure everyone’s voice is represented, and that the people’s government is accessible and effective.

Lisa Cutter
Lisa’s spent most of her life in Jefferson County and has deep roots in this community. She’s raised her family and established a successful small business here. For the past 8 years, she’s represented much of Jeffco as a legislator in both the House and the Senate.
During her time as a legislator, she’s been a champion for working families. Lisa has fought to protect the environment and ensure access to reproductive healthcare, because she understands that the true health of our communities depends on many factors. Lisa is ready to listen and serve her community as a County Commissioner.

Coroner
Nick Lobello
When an unexpected, untimely death occurs, it represents more than a personal tragedy—it creates a profound loss felt by families, friends, and the community as a whole. The Coroner’s Office plays a vital role by impartially seeking the unbiased truth on behalf of the deceased, providing answers to legal next-of-kin, and addressing broader medical, legal, and public health concerns.
With years of proven leadership in the field, top-tier qualifications, and a deep passion for public service guided by professionalism, compassion, and integrity, I respectfully ask for your support to serve as your next County Coroner.

Sheriff
Regina "Reggie" Marinelli
Reggie Marinelli is a 40-year veteran of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and has served as Sheriff since January 2023.
Her career spans operations, investigations, detentions, narcotics enforcement, and major leadership roles. She previously led the West Metro Drug Task Force, coordinated PREA and MRT programs, and taught at the county’s Law Enforcement Academy for more than 20 years.
As Sheriff, she has expanded emergency management, strengthened training and succession planning, enhanced inmate‑wellness initiatives, and emphasized fiscal responsibility. Under her leadership, crime and jail population have steadily decreased. She also works with national and local legislators on public‑safety issues.

Progressive values brought our American banking system out of the ashes of the Great Depression. Those same values can be implemented today to ensure all may obtain a more abundant life.
The office of County Treasurer can help our economy work for working families by investing as much of our funds locally as possible. We can obtain a solid return for taxpayers on the investment of their funds without compromising our values.
