Michael Bennet, U.S. Senator since 2009, is a pragmatic, results-driven leader with deep roots in Colorado and a commitment to expanding opportunity.
A former Superintendent of Denver Public Schools, he improved student achievement and stabilized budgets before bringing his problem-solving approach to Washington. Bennet has championed bipartisan solutions, helping pass the Inflation Reduction Act and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, delivering clean energy jobs, forest health investments, and infrastructure funding statewide.
Now running for governor, he’s focused on affordability, education, renewable energy, and protecting public lands. Michael lives in Denver with his wife Susan, their three daughters, and pets Captain Flint and Bandit.

An Arvada resident for nearly 20 years, she brings expertise as a licensed geologist, software developer, and mining consultant to her data-driven approach. As vice-chair of House Finance, chair of Joint Technology, and member of Appropriations, Brianna champions fiscal responsibility, consumer protections, and transparency. The first openly transgender state lawmaker in Colorado, she would be the first openly trans person elected to statewide executive office in the U.S.
