We are excited that thanks to Abe Penland, our Assistant Treasurer and webmaster, we have been updating our website. Please see the new front page.
One of the great new features is that you can now look up any address in JeffCo and get a list of districts. This is great for people who have moved or are new to the party. Please check it out.
Our brothers and sisters in Labor are always fighting for the rights of workers. There is currently a strike against Safeway and Albertsons. Please support them by never crossing a picket line and shopping elsewhere.
This Friday is the 4th of July. Let's all remember the principals this country was founded on. Our rights are under attack and we must remain vigilant in our efforts to protect all of the people of this great nation.
We continue to encourage all those who are interested in their community and having good, compassionate government, to attend City Council, County Commissioner, and School Board meetings. This is your opportunity to make your voice heard. These meetings are on the JeffCo Dems Calendar and listed below. Too often, it is only hateful voices at these meetings. The good Democrats who serve in these elected offices need to know they have your support for progressive policies.

Spotlight on JeffCo Young Dems Food Drive

With the Trump Administration cutting $1 billion
from hunger programs, food banks across the country and here in Colorado are losing millions in funding.
JeffCo Eats,
a local organization that serves 600+ families and children per week in JeffCo, has had to reduce their average weekly food provided per family by a staggering 40% (10 lbs ->6 lbs).
Donations are needed to fill these bags of food and provide for hungry children in Jefferson County.
It's time for us to step up and help feed our neighbors!

Arvada Community Room

You bring ready-to-eat meals and snacks to donate, and we'll feed you pizza in return. There will also be opportunities to donate and sign up to volunteer with JeffCo Eats!

If you can't attend, please consider supporting JeffCo Eats as a monthly donor at https://jeffcoeats.org/donate/
. Make sure to add "Young Dems" in the Additional Donation Information
field, as well as unchecking Cover the processing fees so that 100% of my donation goes to the organization.
This seems counterintuitive, but will reduce your costs while not adversely impacting the organization.
