| Hello and welcome to the Blue Beacon!
The Election is almost here! Ballots will be mailed on October 10th. Please vote YES on LL and MM. See below for more information.
If you want to know more about the election and who the Democrats are for every city and the School Board. please see our 2025 Election Page. If you have not made even a small donation, please consider helping a local Democrat financially. No amount is too small. We also need volunteers. There is contact information for local Democrats on the website, please reach out and do even one shift. Local races are critical to effective and compassionate government that touches you most closely.
Now is the time to get educated. The sooner you vote, the sooner the texts and calls will stop. Vote day 1. If you plan to safely put your ballot in a free drop box, you can find those locations here. A big shoutout to Ami Prichard, who chaired our Eleanor Roosevelt Dinner committee. Also, thanks to all the volunteers for a hugely successful event. Let's keep JeffCo Blue in 2025! In Solidarity, Kathryn Wallace, Chair Jefferson County Democratic Party |

Spotlight on LL and MM Ballot Measures |
|
|
The Colorado Democratic Party endorses both of these amendments to keep kids fed.
Passing LL and MM will: Continue free school meals for over 600,000 Colorado students. Direct funding to buy fresh, local food from Colorado farmers and ranchers. Support better wages and training for frontline school nutrition staff. Protect access to SNAP for more than 300,000 Coloradans facing federal cuts.
Without these measures, Colorado’s Healthy School Meals for All program could end for many schools as early as January 2026, risking kids’ nutrition and families’ food security. |
