The holidays are in full swing. We had a great time at Champagne and Chocolates, with 100 attendees. We also had a great Second Saturday where we heard how government works from Lesley Dahlkemper, Tracy Kraft-Tharp, and Rebekah Stewart. See the recording here.
We are gearing up for Caucus and Assembly. Caucus will be March 7, 2026, and County Assembly will be March 14, 2026. Both will be virtual. Plan on spending a few hours at each. If you are a Precinct Organizer, your term ends on March 7, and we hope you will run again to continue in the role. Caucus and Assembly can be pretty confusing. We will have training throughout January and February so you will be prepared and set up for success. No matter what you are celebrating right now, I wish you the happiest of holidays. A huge congratulations to JeffCo Dems Secretary Ron Meehan on his election in Los Angeles this weekend to serve on the DNC Youth Council! He had productive conversations with young Democratic leaders across America about the future of our country and party, and in the process got to talk about the amazing work we're doing with JeffCo Dems. The DNC Youth Council shapes how Democrats engage, organize and empower young voters nationwide, and we’re thrilled to have this representation!
