| Hello and welcome to the Blue Beacon!
Since the last Blue Beacon, we have had Caucus and Assembly. This sometimes painful and time-consuming process led directly to placing our Democratic candidates on the ballot. That is the purpose of our party. To recruit, run, and elect Democrats. And we are doing that all over JeffCo. We have received a lot of positive feedback on what a great job the volunteers did in making this happen. I couldn't agree more. We have the best volunteers. They spent hours in training and preparation and for days after Assembly to fulfill our responsibilities. I would like to reward them with a classy thank-you party. Can you help with that? At Caucus, we elected almost 200 Precinct Organizers. We are looking forward to the year-round work we do as a party with the help of these dedicated volunteers. You are not alone; Precinct Organizer training is coming in April. While the Jefferson County Assembly is over, the multi-county district assemblies and State Assemblies are still to come. Thank you to those who continue to see the process through and place the remaining Democrats on the ballot for the entire state.

The Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder is recruiting Election Judges for the Primary and General Election. Election Judge is a position managed and paid for by the Clerk's office. Training is provided. Responsibilities and time commitment vary. For many jobs, a registered Democrat must be present. Can we add your name? If you are interested, please fill out this form.
