I’m the proud parent of a Jefferson County Public Schools student and currently work as an attorney. As a past labor organizer, I’ve learned that collaboration with workers is essential to running effective, well-functioning organizations. I’m thrilled to have the endorsement of my union brothers and sisters of the Jefferson County Educators Association, our teachers.

As Director of District 2, I will work to rebuild trusting relationships between educators and the administration. I’m excited to bring my background in law and policy to the board, address teacher shortages and attract and retain high quality educators to our schools.

I’m Tina Moeinian, running for Jeffco School Board Director in District 5 to ensure that Jeffco Public Schools provide a fair and safe learning environment for all students. I’ve worked as an Equal Employment Opportunity specialist and a mediator, focusing on supporting both workplace and community conflict resolution and problem-solving.

I’m committed to getting back to the basics of what makes Jeffco Schools great, by focusing on having quality teachers in every classroom, improving student achievement, and making sure we are focused on what’s best for all kids.  I’m honored to have the endorsement of the Jefferson County Educators Association (JCEA) and look forward to working side by side with you for our schools.

I currently serve as President of the Jeffco School Board. I am running for re-election because Jeffco is facing some very serious challenges, including the need to make $50-60 million in budget cuts.

With 3 open seats, there is the possibility that the Board majority could be made up of new Directors who will face a steep learning curve before they know enough to make good, informed decisions.

I have visited dozens of schools, attended hundreds of district events, and interacted with thousands of parents, staff, students, and community members.  I am prepared and eager to continue the work.
